St George's Day
St. George’s Day was celebrated in the usual way this year with pupils who belong to uniformed youth organisations wearing their Cubs, Beavers, Brownies, Guides or Scout uniforms. The pupils were also treated to a traditional fish and chip lunch with St. George-themed desserts. Thanks also to Teresea Cheyne from the Guide Association, and Brown Owl from 12th Bromley Brownies who came to speak to the pupils in assembly.
Boogie Bounce Session 15/16 April
The summer term got off to an active start for all pupils on Monday and Tuesday this week. Mr Riddoch, Valley's PE Lead, organised a Boogie Bounce session for every pupil. Each class had the chance to try a new fitness class where they completed an exercise routine on their individual trampettes to a musical dance routine.
Community Iftar
It was lovely to welcome so many families on the evening of Wednesday 27th March to Valley's first-ever Community Iftar. A warm, red lentil soup (kindly prepared by members of our kitchen team) was served to break the fast along with dates and water followed by a delicious buffet supplied by families and staff members. Thank you to all those who came along to this event.
